A: BLACK ORCHARD HAUNTED HOUSE is one of the most unique and original haunts in the Midwest. Located in Red Orchard Park. Black Orchard is a staple attraction in Shelbyville KY.
Q: What age do you need to be to enter Black Orchard?
A: There is no age limit if an adult is accompanying children, although discretion is advised for children under the age of 13. This haunt is graphic and extreme. It may not be suitable for younger ages, and certainly not for children who require being held.
Q: Can we photograph or video the haunted house?
A: No photography, filming, flashlight use or other use of cell phones in any form is allowed inside the Haunted House experience. Photography taken outside the haunt is allowed. Media access should contact blackorchardhauntedhouse@gmail.com.
Q: Is the attraction wheel chair accessible?
A: Unfortunately due to the nature of the historic building, the woods and several other factors, Black Orchard is not accessible by wheel chair.
Q: How long is the total haunt experience?
A: You can expect to be inside and outside, walking through areas and interacting with monsters for at least 15-20 minutes. Plan to wear good footwear and don't wear your best clothing.
Q: If I'm in line at closing will I still get in?
A: Yes. We close our main gates and box office to new arrivals at our specified closing hours. However, if you’re in line prior to the closing of the gates, you will be permitted entry.
Q: What time does the haunt open and close each night?
A: Please check our calendar schedule for all opening and closing as it varies as we progress through the season or on busier nights. Please know, if you purchase a ticket before the box office closes, you are guaranteed to enter the haunt.
Q: Do the lines get long and how long is the wait?
A: Black Orchard is a very busy attraction, so plan accordingly. WAITS CAN BE TWO HOURS PLUS! You can always purchase a FAST PASS OR FRONT OF THE LINE TICKETS for even quicker access.
Q: How do I purchase tickets?
A: CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE TICKETS. Tickets will also be available at Black Orchard where all major credit cards are accepted. Prices are listed online. Some dates and times WILL sell out, for this reason we recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance.
Q: Do children get a discount on tickets?
A: No, but for a very good reason. Although there are no age restrictions, we want parents to be sure their child is mature enough to not be too scared. If you think your youngster will be okay with it, bring them down. But please understand this a gory, no-holds-barred haunt meant to scare. It's not corny or cheesy. We will not be held responsible for anything except nightmares. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and there will be no refunds after a ticket is purchased (in case your child or YOU chicken out). NO REFUNDS!!

Q: Can my whole group go in at the same time?
A: Guests may go through in groups of up 6 at a time. Sometimes we make special requests but it is only at our discretion.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: Black Orchard may close sometimes due to rain, so please use caution when purchasing tickets. Although we do not offer refunds for weather, but your tickets are good for any night our attraction is open and during the same time slot as previously purchased. WE DON'T NOT OFFER REFUNDS OR RAINOUT REFUNDS.
Q: Can I exit out of the Haunted House at any time if I feel it is too scary?
A: Yes. There are emergency exits you can use with the assistance of our staff. Please understand that are no refunds.
